About us

A family dental office in downtown Steamboat Springs, opened by a sister and brother who grew up in this corner of Colorado and came home to work.

Three dentists,
one family.

Dentistry is the family trade. Dr. Dushan R. Voyich built Voyich and Voyich Dental Arts in Craig, Colorado, and his children grew up around it, spending afternoons in the office long before either of them decided to make a career of it.

Dr. Nastassija Voyich and Dr. Eli Voyich both studied Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder, both graduated with distinction, and both went on to dental school: Dr. Nastassija Voyich at A.T. Still University, Dr. Eli Voyich at the University of Colorado.

Heavenly Days Dental Arts is the next chapter: Steamboat Springs, Colorado, built around how they think dentistry ought to be done.

Dr. Nastassija Voyich, DMD

Nastassija Voyich, DMD, is a second-generation dentist and the third dentist of the Voyich family.

Dr. Nastassija Voyich spent a substantial amount of time in the dental office with her family as a child. After seeing the positive impact dentistry had on others, it became clear that she wanted to spend her career working in dentistry.

She was born and raised in the Yampa Valley. She attended college at the University of Colorado, Boulder, graduated with distinction, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Subsequently, she attended dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a Certificate in Public Health.

Dr. Nastassija is devoted to a conservative approach to dentistry, with an emphasis on preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible. She understands that every patient is unique and believes dental care should be personalized to meet each individual’s needs. She embraces digital advancements in dentistry and enjoys incorporating new technologies into her practice to provide patients with more comfortable, efficient, and precise care. In addition to enjoying the aesthetic and artistic aspects of dentistry, she has a strong interest in biomaterials used in dental surgery and the ways these naturally occurring materials can support patient health and healing. Aside from her interest in cosmetic and molecular dentistry, she is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). She acknowledges the versatility of implants and how they help with function and esthetics. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Colorado Dental Association (CDA).

When she is not working, she enjoys outdoor sports such as skiing, snowboarding, pickleball, and golf. She also enjoys hiking, baking, spending time with friends, family, and her Mini Bernedoodle, Zooby.

Dr. Eli Voyich, DDS

Dr. Eli grew up in Craig, Colorado where he attended K-12th grades graduating from Moffat County High School. He attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he received his B.A., with Distinction in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in May of 2020.

Dr. Eli loves most outdoor activities and spends his free time fishing, biking, rafting, skiing, snowboarding, ATV riding, and hiking. When he can’t be outside, he enjoys playing guitar, drums, video games, and watching sports.

He believes health is the new wealth, and the mouth is its biometric gateway. Oral microbiome health is a critical indicator of overall vitality, driving demand for products that prove their efficacy. Rather than treating health goals in isolation, he views wellbeing as an interconnected ecosystem in which daily habits should work together to support long-term outcomes.

Dr. Eli is committed to bringing high quality healthcare to the rural population. He will practice evidence-based dentistry tailored specifically to each individual patient’s needs, aiming to reduce disease and satisfy patient’s requests.

As priorities shift from simple hygiene to cellular optimization and avant-garde self-expression, his goal is to offer functional solutions that align with the requirements and desires of patients.

Dr. Eli strives to conduct himself in a manner consistent with his beliefs, and impact those around him in a positive way. He seeks to establish himself as a leader, not only in the facility in which he practices, but in the community he resides.

The equipment, and why it matters

Technology is only worth having if you can feel the difference in the chair. Here is what we use and what it actually does for you.

Dental wand

The wand is a computer-assisted, pen shaped local anesthetic delivery tool we use to make shots virtually painless. With a computer regulated flow, pre-anesthetizing effect, and dynamic pressure sensing, this device replaces the intimidating metal syringe. The wand reduces anxiety and prevents uncomfortable sensations of traditional methods and collateral numbness.

Dental lasers

Used for detecting and removing decay, gum treatment, whitening, pediatric work, canker sore treatment and tongue-tie release, often with less anesthetic, fewer sutures and a faster recovery than the traditional approach.

Intraoral camera

A small camera that lets you see what we see, on screen, magnified. The intraoral camera allows for digital impressions which have largely replaced traditional impression techniques. This means no more messy trays full of goo.

CBCT 3D imaging

A cone beam CT scan takes a three-dimensional image of the teeth, jaw and surrounding bone in a single rotation. Precision positioning and field of view establishment minimizes radiation exposure. These images show detail a two dimensional X-ray cannot: the exact shape of the bone for an implant, the path of a nerve, a root that needs attention. In the world of diagnostics, to see is to know. Highly precise three-dimensional imaging allows us to do just that.
